Student Life LCD TV Request Forms
Purpose: The Student Life LCD TV communication system's primary purpose is to provide students with information that promotes and supports their full involvement in campus life and their knowledge and use of University services.
Format: There are four categories of information featured:
- Today in the William Pitt Union
- Information related to certified student organizations,
- University-wide information, and
- Information relating to Student Affairs programs and services.
Decision Criteria: The office of Student Life has sole responsibility and authority for approval of all content. and will base approval on the applicability to the four information categories and the importance and relevance to the student body.
Specifications for submission
All submissions must be sent on the Student Life LCD TV Request Form via e-mail to wpudigitalsigns@studentaffairs.pitt.edu at least two (2) weeks in advance.
Images
Format: All images, logos, artwork, etc should be in jpeg format at 72dpi. Any images used in PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, etc. should also be sent separately as individual files.
Size: Ideal size for photos is landscape 1366x768. Smaller images in either vertical or horizontal may be used but will not be enlarged above actual size.
Copy
All copy should be sent in Word, and saved as a txt file.
Examples for Ads
Power Point, Publisher, or Word files with graphics inserted into copy may be sent as examples of how the ad might look, but cannot be used as the end product.
